Assist and Throttle

The 9 Levels of pedal assistance (PAS) are easily controlled from the ergonomic sensor pad interface integrated into the multifunction display. The ‘on demand’ thumb throttle can be engaged at any time to provide a power boost without the need to pedal. Both sets of controls are located conveniently on the handlebar for easy access at all times while hands stay securely placed on the grips.

Pedal assist and throttle controls are sized and spaced to provide maximum accessibility and comfort as well as ensuring they can be operated safely even when wearing large winter gloves.

In addition to ‘powered’ modes the bike can be ridden as a ‘traditional’ fat bike by selecting ‘0’ PAS. In this mode the battery will only provide power to the lights and multifunction display allowing you to ride fully under your own steam whenever you desire.

Multifunction Display

The LCD backlit display located on the handlebar acts as your ‘in ride’ dashboard, providing all the essential information about your speed and bike performance as well as light controls and diagnostic information for the bikes electronic components.

The eXtreme 3.1ez display has an integrated USB charging port that can be used to conveniently charge electrical devices such as a mobile phone.

Battery and Motor

The Bafang fat bike motor has been configured to perform at the highest level legally permitted on Canadian roads. The optimized 500W motor delivers up to an incredible 80Nm of torque ensure you can fly up any hill effortlessly. The geared brushless motor system is exceptionally efficient and smooth - maximizing power transfer and minimize power loss.

Power is provided to the motor from the 576Wh battery that is seamlessly integrated within the natural shape of the bike frame. The battery locks securely into the bike and is only removable using the keys provided. For your convenience, the battery can be charged on or off the bike.

About the Narrow Wide Chainring

The Narrow Wide chainring has alternating teeth thickness. These correspond precisely to the ‘inner’ and ‘outer’ links of the chain and greatly reduce any sideways movement of the chain when riding. This is important when traveling at speed over rugged ground or when changing gear as this innovative technology keeps the chain securely in place and minimizing the occurrence of chain drop.

RST Fork for Customizable Comfort

The RST suspension fork has been developed to fill the need for a performance fat tire forks. With 75mm of travel the available suspension is capable of absorbing bumps or potholes to keeping you in control and comfortable over all terrain. A ‘pre-load’ dial provides the option to increase/decrease the stiffness of the fork to your preference while the lockout control can be engaged to eliminate the travel completely for more responsive and efficient riding when moving over flat ground.

This grandiose width provides exceptional grip and control no matter the terrain. The Kenda Juggernaut fat bike tires are specifically designed for optimal performance at lower pressure and will take you effortlessly over even fine sand or deep snow.

To ensure rider safety the iGO eXtreme 3.1ez has advanced stopping power with hydraulic bakes and extra large 180mm disc brake rotors (front and rear). Disc brakes are essential on electric bikes to provide the traction required to slow the bike with ease when traveling at high speed. The Tektro disc brakes retain their excellent performance even in wet or muddy conditions.
